➤ Can I still receive unemployment if I choose not to work because I do not want to risk going to work during a state order to stay at home?

In most cases, no. As of right now, unemployment benefits are available to people who are totally or partially unemployed due to no fault of their own.

If you have not been directed to self-quarantine yourself by your employer or a health official and are choosing not to work, you are not eligible for unemployment benefits.
